ADC blowing agent
ADC blowing agent is in form of yellow power and its specific gravity is 1.65 and is non-poisonous, odorless and flammable. It is the most widely used organic chemical blowing agent. ADC has superior dispensability with large gas emission rate. The decompose gases are non-poisonous, odorless and pollution free. The main produced gas is nitrogen, which hardly comes out of the blown object. ADC is decomposed at 210-215¡æ and its decomposition temperature can be lowered to 150-190¡æ by addition of catalysts (like some of Zn-containing compounds) to get adapted to different requirement of different materials. Its decomposition temperature can be also lowered by addition of organic acids and their salts, urea, biuret, biurea, borax, ethanolamine, lead salts, etc. This can be considered in formula design.

¢ÝThis product is non-poisonous and is allowed to be used in USA for production of object which is touched by foodstuff.

Applications:
ADC blowing agent is the most largest consumed chemical blowing agent in domestic market and it is widely used in blowing of PVC, PE, EVA, PP, PS, NR, ABS resin, nylon 66, CR, NBR, IIR, SBR, EPDM, silicon rubber and PVC/NBR blends both under normal and pressurized condition. It is suitable for blowing of close pore foams, normal pressure or pressurized foams and thick or thin foam. ADC is uniform in particle size, stable in quality and is suitable for high and middle class products which have high requirements on appearances and performances.

Dosage:
Depending on the manufacturing process and end product the amounts needed vary between 0.05% and 20% of total mixture.

Caution:
¢ÙThe temperature during storage and transportation shall be low. The ambient temperature shall not exceed 50¡æ and the ADC product shall be kept away from heat source. ADC product can be stored for 2 years under dry circumstances in sealed packages.
¢ÚVentilation shall be assured in storage and processing places so that the gas emitted may not be accumulated and the product powder may not be breathed into human bodies. It is not allowed to stack large amount of ADC product that will not be used in short time.
¢ÛNo contact with other types of blowing agents, acids, alkali or heavy metal salts which may cause chemical reactions and drastic decomposition.
¢ÜPackages with ADC residues shall not be used for other chemicals and shall be treated in accordance with relevant regulations.
¢ÝADC may produce thick smoke if not properly used. If this happens, large amount of water shall be sprayed to prevent the decomposition reactions.
