1 Introduction
The addition of PVC processing aids B-23 to rigid PVC formulations is a processing aid based on a high molecular weight polymethacrylate resin. B-23 improves the processability and the performances of PVC formulations.
2 Performance
⑴ Promote gelation of PVC, Improve hot-melt strength and visco-elasticity, Stabilize the microcells generated by blowing agents to achieve the low density and high strength of the foam. Increase the surface quality of PVC products.
⑵ Better dispersion of additives into PVC, more homogenous melt of PVC, etc. B-23 has been used in weatherable applications and is widely used in PVC building products.
3 Application
B-23 are mainly used in PVC profiles, foam pipe, foam profiles, foam sheet, wood composites,etc.
Addition levels for this application are 5-8 phr(PVC 100 phr).
4 Properties
B-23 is White fluid powder, banked specific gravity:0.45-0.55g/cm3, can not be dissolved in water, ethanol, can be dissolved in chloroform and methyl ethyl ketone.

6 Storage, Packing & Transportation
Packaged in airproof plastic bag, then in woven bags with quality certificate.
Stored in cool and draughty place, shelf life: one year.
